LulzSec Hacker Arrested, Group Leaks Sony Database
Around 11 a.m. EDT on June 6, hackers are believed to have accessed source code from Sony Computer Entertainment’s Developer Network and uploaded digitial copies of the code to several file sharing websites. The group of hackers operate under the name of Lulz Security (LulzSec) and also frequently post updates on Twitter under the Twitter handle @LulzSec.
One member of the group, Robert Cavanaugh, is believed to have been apprehended and taken into custody by the FBI after an apparent counter hack, according to an internal chat log from their private IRC server which was obtained by SecList, a mailing list for security tools such as nmap which is a popular network mapping and security testing software.
